She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wesley and Lola Grace Swan (Morgan); her former husband Donald Metzger of Paul's United Methodist Church; her husband Dr. Delbert Harris of Paul's United Methodist Church; and her sister Nancy Swan.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael G. Metzger (Carol) of Davenport and Daniel G. Metzger of Bethalto, Illinois; her grandson Isaac Hopkins (Ashley) of Caseyville, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Callen Hopkins and Kodi Hopkins; and her siblings, Rebecca Jones (Robert "Bob") of Glen Carbon, Illinois and David Swan (Cindy) of Centralia, Washington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the East Alton First United Methodist Church.
