He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Peterson and Augusta Peterson (Rome); his sons, Kevin Peterson and Keith Peterson; and his son-in-law Jeffrey French.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Peterson of Godfrey, IL; his daughter Kimberly French of Edwardsville, IL; his grandchildren, Andrew Peterson (Cassie), Nathaniel French (Stephanie), Mykal Peterson and Julia DeLong (Devonn); his great grandchildren, Elijah Peterson, Uriah Peterson, Caliah Peterson, Grayson Peterson and Lincoln Peterson; and his cousin Janis Anderson (James). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Abundant Life Church (3986 Humbert Rd, Alton, IL 62002).
Memorial donations may be given to the Peterson family.
