He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Hanks and Mildred Hanks (Hamilton); his son Kent Randall Hanks; and his brother Larry Hanks. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hanks (Johnson); his daughters, Deelynn Holden (Glen) of Pine Prairie, LA, Latane Boone (Keith) of Sugarland, TX, Debbie Duckett of Calvert City, KY, Tammie Brenner of Alton, Shannon Shepard of Godfrey and Kristy Bush (Henry) of Brighton; and his siblings-in-law, Laurie Gray of Godfrey, Lillian Faye Johnson (Louis) of Staunton, Russ Wyman (Brenda) of Alton and David Milford (Lillian Gail) of Alton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
