He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Gibbons and Florence Gibbons (Fritsche); and his sister Mary. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Gibbons of Godfrey; his children, Matthew Gibbons (Kelli) of Bloomington, Andrew Gibbons (Carla) of Altona and Jennifer Pomranka (Jeffrey) of Loveland, CO; his grandchildren, Katie Miller (Travis), Conner Gibbons, Ella Gibbons, Annabeth Gibbons, Charlie Gibbons, Gracie Gibbons, IdaMae Gibbons, Olivia Pomranka and Mia Pomranka; and his siblings, Martin Gibbons of St. Louis and Margaret Gibbons of Alton. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
