He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Pearson and Onita Crader Pearson; his daughter Janet Pearson; his sisters, Mary Sisk, Audrey Coonrod, Virginia Scoggins, Violet Richards and Joyce Ehlert; and his son-in-law Leo Burrows.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Dwyer; his children, Tyler Pearson (Mary Kay Stamper) of Godfrey, IL, Donna Burrows of Pittsfield, IL, Tanya Stanton (Don) of East Alton, IL and Tasha Davis (Kent) of Pittsfield, IL; his grandchildren, Gabriel Burrows, Daniel Burrows, Victoria Wood, Jordan Wankel, Caden Stanton, London Stanton, Madalene Klocke (AJ), Gabrielle Davis, Mason Davis, Taylor Pearson, Jonathan Pearson and Allie Turner; his great grandchildren, Damion Wood, Emily Wood and Caitlyn Wood; and his brother Bill Pearson of Bedford, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
