It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Elaine Dunbar of Godfrey, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Prewett and Lucille Prewett (Herman); her sister Jolene Scott (Prewett); her brother-in-law David Scott; and her niece Jamie Kindle (John).

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Dunbar; her children, Lisa Funk (Michael) and Mark Dunbar (Christine); her grandchildren, Nicholas Funk, Zachary Funk (Hillary), Skylar Funk (Chloe), Kirstin Dunbar and Kortney Dunbar; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Zealand, Knox, Macklen, Sullivan Funk and Payton Funk; her sister Judith Bucatch (James) of Granite City; and her nephew Jason Bucatch (Melissa).

Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home - Godfrey (1313 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
