He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kay" Bierbaum; his children, Amy Albright (Mark) of Orlando, FL, Mary Ann Knowles (David) of Alton, Brian Gross of Alton and Mark Gross (Katie Wilson) of Litchfield, IL; his grandchildren, Adam Albright (Brittany Wojno) of Orlando, FL, Andrew Knowles (Shelby Eiffert) of St. Peters, MO, Anna Knowles of Alton, Isabel Gross of Alton and Amelia Gross of Alton; and his sisters, Kaye Cary of Houston, TX and Barbara Bohn of Alton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Ambrose Catholic Church or Catholic Charities.
