It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Edward Kinder of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Golden Eagle, Illinois, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles and Alice Barbara Kinder (Creech); and his brother Kenneth Eugene Kinder. He is survived by: his wife Rose Ann Goetze; his son William; his daughter-in-law Megan Kinder of Golden Eagle; and his siblings, Linda Kirn of Godfrey, Mary Ann Hetzel of Alton, Jon Jay (Marie Kinder), Gilbert (Shirley Kinder) and Ronald (Becky Kinder). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to either Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles, Missouri, Brussels American Legion Post 685, or a charity of one's choice.
