He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Allen and Nellie Elizabeth Hettick (Mudd); his wife Mary Jane; his daughter Debra Rae Hettick; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Lockwood and Carl Robison.
He is survived by: his son Randy Hettick (Jackie); his granddaughters, Lauren Hettick (Steven Sneddon) and Lindsay Damm (Shaun); his great grandchildren, Aubree, Isaac, Xavier, Travis and Ella; his siblings, Diana Lockwood, Sheila Ventimiglia (Tony) and Tom Hettick (Gail); his sister-in-law Vicki Robison; and his aunt Josephine "Babe" Ventimiglia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home - Godfrey (1313 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (820 W Homer M Adams Pkwy, Godfrey, IL 62035). A burial will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (16970 St. Mary's Catholic Church Alton, IL 62002).
