It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia L. Staggs of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyman Lyons and Helen Eklund (Snell); her husband James Billy Staggs, I; and her sons, James Billy Staggs, II and Brad Staggs.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Staggs (Brenda) of Independence, MO, Billy Dean Staggs (Ginger) of Godfrey, Paula Goodson (Kevin) of Cottage Hills and Barbara Davidson (Tony) of Bethalto; her sister Barbara Keene of Florida; and her half-brothers, Dennis and Gary Lyons of Missouri. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
