It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederick Korte (Godfrey, Illinois), who passed away on May 28, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Korte and Helen Korte (Kohlbrecker); his wife Maxine Hackert; his siblings, Robert Korte and Joanne Hudspeth; and his son-in-law Rodger Averbeck.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Korte-Averbeck (late Rodger), Mark Korte (Kathy) of Alton, Kathryn Heffington (James) of Jerseyville, Patrick Korte (Amanda) of Tennessee, Timothy Korte (Debbie) of Mississippi, Anthony Korte (Laura) of Missouri and Rose Price of Alton; and his sisters, June Sauls (Dean) and Carol Null (Gary). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren & 23 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
