We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2019, at the age of 86, Emma Caroline Sievers (Godfrey, Illinois), born in Michael, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carpenter and Lorraine Carpenter (Hazelwonder); and her brother Gary Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband Sylvester "Vess" Sievers; her daughter Susan; her son-in-law Louis Gillson of Centerville, OH; her son John; her daughter-in-law Carol Sievers of Godfrey; her grandsons, Joshua Sievers (Sarah), Samuel Sievers (Amanda), Michael Sievers, Steven, Dustin and Brett Gillson; and her siblings, John Carpenter of Godfrey, Anna Mae Heavner of Godfrey and Alice Adams of Godfrey.
