It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Leslie Bodkins (Godfrey, Illinois), born in Bells, Tennessee, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bodkins (Laura) and Bette Basden (Don); his brother Dale Bruce Bodkins; and his parents-in-law, Sid and Mary Ansell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ansell; his daughters, Stephanie Bodkins of Brighton and Deidre Charles (Joe) of St. George; his siblings, Howard Bodkins (Tina) of Troy, Steve Bodkins (Tammy) of Pontoon Beach, Keith Bodkins (Hunter) of Belleville, Mike Bodkins (Michelle) of Murrieta, Cal, Frank Bodkins of York, S. C., Donnie Basden (Marcy) of Collinsville, Jean Lawhead (Dave) of Breese, Joanie Wallace (Billy) of Edwardsville and Lisa Stahlhut (Mike) of Moro; and his siblings-in-law, Janice and Jim Klug. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
