He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jesse and Esther Davis (Brandt); and his son Terry William Davis of Aurora. He is survived by: his wife Lois (Sparks); his children, Jeffery Charles Davis (Barbara) of Hobe Sound and Karen Marie Pearson of Godfrey; his grandsons, Jesse Edward Davis (Elizabeth) of Stuart, Cole Joseph Pearson of Godfrey, Jordan Howard Davis of Toronto and Ontario; and his stepgrandson Brandon Theesfeld of Amarillo, Texas..

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic School in Godfrey, IL.
