It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Wayne Wagnon of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Pahokee, Florida, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Wagnon and Ruby Wagnon (Rozell); his siblings, Edwin Wagnon, Doris Hall, Kelly Bruce Wagnon, Wilma Lou Slonaker and James Wagnon; and his granddaughter Elise Wagnon.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Wagnon of Godfrey; his children, Dr. Donald W. (Rene Wagnon, Jr.), William E. (Karen Wagnon), Steven F. (Elizabeth Wagnon), Geraldine A. (John Shourd), Aimee R. (Brad Parks) and Dr. Jon A. (Jennifer Wagnon); his grandchildren, Donald Wagnon III, Natalie Wagnon (Joseph O'Shea), Rachel Charnock (William), Alexandra Wagnon, Benjamin Wagnon (Kristen), Elizabeth Wagnon, Lilian Wagnon, Genevieve Wagnon, Sophia Wagnon, Madeleine Wagnon, Yadan Shourd, Kathryn Smith, Lucille Parks, Caroline Parks and Elsa Wagnon; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Spencer Smith and Samuel Charnock.
