Speight of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Fulton, Kentucky, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Speight and Jetta Speight (Cook); and his spouse Shirley Speight. He is survived by: his sister Ophelia; his brother-in-law Steve Helm of Louisville, KY; and his close friend JoAnne Beck of Godfrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Vincent DePaul.
