With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Della Mae Freeman of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Jerseyville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 10, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Rothe and Lillie Rothe (Down); her husband Howard Freeman; her siblings, Melvin Rothe, John Rothe, Charles Rothe, Robert Rothe, Frank Rothe, Wilbur Rothe, Eileen Voorhees, Evelyn Mundy and Nina Darr; and her daughter-in-law Sherry Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Freeman, Brenda Harp (Doug), Kenneth Freeman (Marlene), Kevin Freeman (Laurie Cummings) and Jean Johns (Scott); and her sisters, Verna Hewitt and Ina Lowis (Bill). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Brighton.
