It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Joel Baker of Godfrey, Illinois, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth White and Pearl Agnes Baker (Vanase); and his grandparents, Florence, Sanford Baker, Charles and Amelia Vanase.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Lloyd Baker of Collinsville; his brother Sanford Vernon Baker; the mother of his child Beth A. Baker; his girlfriend Melissa Martin; his girlfriend's children, Alivia Shae and Amelia Shae; and his friends, William Edwards of Highland, William Ogle of Collinsville, Renny Hagen of Jerseyville and Lloyd Hewes of Jerseyville.
