It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christina Lee McFadden of Godfrey, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Christina farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Christina is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her father Michael Richard Taylor. She is survived by: her mother Sharon Taylor (Kopanski); her husband Raymond McFadden; her children, Cassie Starrett (Derrik) and Raymond McFadden (Lexi Zimmerman); her grandson Brooks Starrett; and her siblings, Tracy O'Hare (Greg), Michael Taylor (Stephanie) and Richard Taylor (Jenny).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home - Godfrey (1313 W Delmar Ave, Godfrey, IL 62035). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Tina's family requests that memorials be made to Feral City 4 Feral Kitties in Alton, IL () or Shelter Friends Inc. in St. Charles, MO (), causes close to Tina's heart. Keep Christina "Tina" Lee McFadden's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
