Charles William Gaber Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025, at the age of 98, Charles William Gaber of Godfrey, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles William Gaber to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gaber and Margaret Gaber (Roady); his wife Nadine Chiles; and his great great grandchild Josie McGuire. He is survived by: his daughters, Charleen Meiser (George) of Bethalto and Judy Rynders of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Todd Meiser (Brenda), Tom Meiser (Melissa), Stacey Rynders, Craig Rynders, Nathan Rynders (Claire) and Alex Rynders; and the mother of his children Peggy Kohlbaker (Stiritz) of Bertrand, MO.. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren as well as his former wife.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Gent Funeral Home (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
