Charles Newton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Newton (Godfrey, Illinois), who passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Newton and Ruth Newton (Kinamore); his granddaughters, Grace Anne Newton and Maggie Bertram; and his brothers, Tim and Jeff Newton.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne (Bob Cogan), Stacie (Rob Bertram), Sam (Denise Newton) and Jim (Carla Newton); and his siblings, Gary Newton of Edwardsville, Michael Newton of Aurora, CO, Tom Newton of Lebanon, MO, Betsy Meyer of Edwardsville and Duke Newton of Edwardsville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
