She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley James and Elnore James (Alger); her husband Arthur "Art" Garrett; and her siblings, Eugene James, Lea Anna James and V. Elaine Pusczek.
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Christina Levi (Thatcher); her stepchildren, Carla Abel (Dan) and Brian Garrett (Donna); and her grandchildren, Jessica Rickard (Cory), Ashley Huether, Cera Thorton (Keith), Alayna Abel, Hannah Abel, Ellanore Levi and Gabriel Levi. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews and many good friends.
