It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty A. Klaffer (Godfrey, Illinois), born in Hardin, Illinois, who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Abner and Wilma Bull Johnson; her husband Richard Klaffer; and her sister Letha Lawson. She is survived by: her children, Robert Geber (Becky) of Hardin, IL, Gary Gerber (Shelly) of Alton, IL and Michele Gerber of Alton, IL; and her siblings, Teresa Hill, Carol Slaten, Virginia Wallace and Donald Johnson.
Due to Covid-19 distancing regulations, a drive thru visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
