He was predeceased by: his grandmother Charolette Cooper. He is survived by: his parents, Dale Evans and Brenda Evans (Reid); his son Jackson Evans (Tara Young); his sister Amy Straky (Patrick); his niece Arianna Straky; his nephew Aiden Straky; his aunt Sara Burkey; and his cousins, Jake, Kyle and Michael Goss.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Godfrey First Methodist Church in Godfrey, Illinois.
