William Embry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Embry of Glenview, Illinois, born in Butler, Kentucky, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Purtle Embry and Lena Embry; his brother Bert Embry (Lionel); his wife Helen Mae Bryant of Caneyville, KY; his siblings, Jim, Jewel, Kathleen and Maxine; and his son Robert Stephen Embry.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth W. Embry of Evanston, IL, Harold D. Embry of Glenview, IL and Karen Embry Jenlink (Patrick) of Nacogdoches, TX; his grandchildren, Tom Embry of Arlington Heights, IL, Kate Malloy (Nicholas) of Arlington Heights, IL, Steve Embry of Rolling Meadows, IL, Amber Hurd (Corey) of St. Mary's, GA and Charla Dumas of Little Rock, AR; his great grandchildren, Sam Malloy, Charlie Malloy and Winter Rose Hurd; and his sister Jean Wilmington (Fred) of Littleton, CO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
