He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Sheehan and Joan Sheehan (Waldron). He is survived by: his wife Sarah Flores; his daughter Kate; and his sisters, Traci Sheehan Van Thull (Chris) of Coloma, CA and Susan Ferguson (Ted) of Portland, OR. He is also survived by seven nephews and four nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Illinois Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (https://afsp.org.).
