He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Whalen and Dolores Laughlin; his grandparents, Edward P. Whalen, Elizabeth Roach, John Laughlin and Gertrude Healy; and his pets, Ellie May I and Tara.
He is survived by: his daughter Siobhan; his siblings, Mary Beth Mueller (Greg), John Whalen (Adrienne), Laura Wilkerson (Larry), Julie Jenkins (Dave), Eileen Mantych (Tom), Karen Graham (Mike) and Kathleen Crews (Gerry); and also God Father. He is also survived by nine great-nieces and nephews.
