With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pedro R. Camara D. of Glenview, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pedro R. Camara D. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudio and Caridad; and his brother Elias. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Christine Thompson (Jeff) and Natalie Critchley (John); his grandchildren, Connor, Shea Thompson, Olivia and Emily Critchley; and his caregiver Aaron Cave. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephew.

In his final act of service to science, Pedro's brilliant brain has been donated to research.
