She is survived by: her parents, Edwin Gmelich and Mary Gmelich; her grandchildren, James, Jr. (Debra), Timothy (Deborah), Terrance (late Teresa), Dennis (Elizabeth), Sheila Miller (Mark), John Cullen (Connie), Joan, Patrick, Casey, Shaena Hengtgen (Kevin), Ryann, Katie, Charlie, Brian, Terry, Lindsay Cullen, Matthew Messel (Anna) and Michael Messel; her stepgrandchildren, Sean Lynch (Joanna) and Abigail Lynch; her great grandchild Jacob Hengtgen; and her sibling Mary Amenta.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sister Paulanne Needy Family Fund c/o Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
