We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2023, at the age of 93, Norma Kyllikki Maki of Glenview, Illinois, born in Gwinn, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Latola and Alice Latola (Blanck); her husband Bill Maki of North Lake, Michigan.; her stepmother Anna Latola; her sisters, Luella Marin and Karen Sarasin; her brother-in-law Martin Marin; and her grandsons, Eric Maki and Ross Maki.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Maki (Kim West) of Ithaca, Michigan, Phillip Maki (Teresa) of Mundelein and David Maki (Alison) of Arlington Heights, Illinois; her grandchildren, Sophia Lind (Andrew), Daniel Maki, Lucas Maki and Clara Maki; and her brother-in-law Vernon Sarasin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial funds may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church in Gwinn.
