She was predeceased by: her parents, James Francis Chambliss and Mary Catherine Chambliss; and her brothers, James Francis and Michael Jospeh. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Howard Witte; her siblings, Ellen, Judith and Richard; and her children, Thomas Gerard (Barbara O'Donnell), Michael Joseph (Johanes Herman), Christopher Paul (Susan Brown), David Howard (Leana Watson Evans), Joseph Mathias (Corrine Back), Laura (Young Kim) and Frances (David Okeefe). She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
