He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Mussay and Elizabeth Mussay (Kozlowski); his daughter Janet; and his siblings, Donald Mussay and Virginia Grizzaffi.
He is survived by: his wife June Branding of Granite City, Illinois.; his children, Jill Ruter (Allan) of Glenview, Judy McDonald (Mark) of Spring Hill, KS, Jeffrey (Pam Collins) of Chicago and Michael (Antoinette) of Grayslake; and his grandchildren, Karl Ruter, Jake Mussay, Ned Ruter, Kyle McDonald, Luke Mussay, Kent McDonald, Carly McDonald, Veronica Mussay, Cameron Mussay, Madeline Mussay, Nolan Mussay and Shane Mussay.
