It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret G. Magnuson of Glenview, Illinois, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald E. Magnuson; her parents, Edward Griebel and Alice Griebel; her sisters, Alice Sylvester and Mary Griebel; and her nephew Robert Sylvester.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Bak (Bob), Jerry Magnuson (Renee), Laura Miller (Glen) and Maggie Stewart (Roger); her grandchildren, Kathleen Bak (Jason Guindon), Brian Bak (Shannon), Annie Bak, Megan Miller, Kevin Miller, Jack Stewart and Payton Watson; her great grandchildren, Amelia Bak and George Guindon; and her nieces, Alice Stepanek, Anne Grego, Jeanne Silverman and Mary Sylvester.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Misericordia, 6300 N. Ridge, Chicago, IL 60660 or Mercy Home for Boys and Girls.
