She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Groen and Swaanee Groen (Westerhuis) of Platte; her brother Lee Groen; her sister-in-law Peg Scott of Traverse City, Michagan.; her nephew William Groen; and her niece Alexandra Brown (Anthony). She was also cherished by many cousins and nieces and nephews.

Due to the risk of Covid-19 contagion an in-person service will not be held.
