She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Newhall and Catherine Newhall; and her siblings, James Newhall and Elizabeth Newhall. She is survived by her sons, Peter, Christopher and Matthew; her brother Bob Newhall (Teresa) and her niece and nephews, Joe, Dani and Rebecca; and ex-husband Jim Nelson.
She believed they were her greatest contribution to the world, and in her final days made plans that would ensure their future without her.
