She was predeceased by: her parents, Betsy Diltz and Gordon J. Diltz, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Joshua Cohen; her son Ian Cohen; her siblings, Thomas Diltz (Catherine), Sally Cantwell (John), Carol Schmidt (John), Susan Keenan (Brian) and Catherine Deiss (Brian); her mother-in-law Dianne; her siblings-in-law, Gabrielle Cohen (David Davidson) and Matt Cohen (Joni Anderson); and her nieces and nephews, Christina Christensen (Ryan), MaKenna Christensen, Jennifer Diltz, Sara, Kimberly Cantwell, John Michael Schmidt (Michelle), Joseph Schmidt, Sean, Drew, Kelly Keenan, Maggie, Molly, Matthew Deiss, Eve and Cameron Davidson.
Her family will celebrate Julie's life at a private service at Calvary Cemetery in Evanston, IL, due to Covid-19 restrictions.
