He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Jim Cavarretta; and his parents, Ewald Fridner and Ruth Youngdahl Fridner. He is survived by: his wife Susanne; his children, John E. Fridner (Laura J.), Laura L. Somers (Jeff) and Gregory J. Fridner (Laura M.); his grandchildren, Taylor, Sarah, Casey, Dillan, Keira, Colin and Alyvia; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Jones (Dennis) and Michael Cavarretta (June).
