It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Thissen Sr. (Glenview, Illinois), who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Malone Thissen; his parents, Eugene Reniere and Kathleen Hughes Thissen; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Pat Blanchard (late William), Margaret White (Thomas) and Sally Cowhey (Robert II).
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen and John Jr. (Joy); his grandchildren, Jack, Molly and Maeve; his siblings, Mary Kay Craig (Bob) and Gene Thissen; and his sister-in-law Nancy Scheid (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
