With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne C. Kahn of Glenview, Illinois, born in Bridgeport, Illinois, who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joanne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joanne farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Buren and Robert Buren. She is survived by: her husband Bernard; her children, William Thome (Karen Judy) and Donna Fine (David); her granddaughters, Kaitlin Fine (Max Berman), Morgan Accornero (Nathan) and Jessica Thome; and her great grandchild Charlie Berman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the N. H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home (1240 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
