It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hamilton Black Jr. of Glenview, Illinois, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Hamilton Black and Margaret Harrington Black; his friends, John and Alfie McAdams; his daughters, Anne Harrington Black and Elizabeth Black Ryan; his wife Janet Higgins Black of Chicago; his son James Hamilton Black, III; his daughter-in-law Melissa Diehl Black; his grandchildren, Grace, Kate, Jimmy, Jill and Connor; his sisters, Susan Webb (late William) and Cathleen Harvey (Thomas); and also, Edwin Ryan, Jack, Michael and Maeve.
