He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Cardis and Celia Cardis; and his siblings, Thomas, George (Kenya) and Mary (Norman).
He is survived by: his spouse Betty; his children, Nancy Peters (late William), Kathryn Lucas (Mark) and Peter Cardis (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Paul (Greta), Matthew, Patricia (Riley), Amy (Andrew) and Alexander; and his great grandchildren, William, Georgia and Nell.
