He was predeceased by: his daughter Michelle "Shelly" Wajda; and his parents, Henry L. Wajda and Anna Wajda. He is survived by: his wife Sophie Wajda; his daughter Suzanne Friedrich (Greg); his grandson Eric Henry Friedrich; and his sisters, Eleanore Sladek (late Frank) and Mary Ann Railsback (Monte). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
