With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George E. Houpis (Glenview, Illinois), who passed away on May 16, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Maita; his parents, Evangelos and Vasiliki; his siblings, Constantine Houpis (Georgia), Maria Georgas (late Demosthenes) and Nicholas Houpis (Matoula); and his siblings-in-law, Harriett Walsh (late Gerald), John Gasser and Edith Shea.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Ascension of our Lord Greek Orthodox Church Building Fund, 1207 Riverwoods Road, Lincolnshire, IL 60069.
