He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion Gottlieb; his parents, Harry Gottlieb and Rose Gottlieb; and his sister Ellen Freedman. He is survived by: his children, Jordan Gottlieb (Risa), Jeffrey Gottlieb and Brian Gottlieb; his grandchildren, Beckett Gottlieb and Emily Gottlieb; and his nieces and nephews, Julie, Daniel (Jodi), David Cohen (Cindy), Craig Freedman and Wendy Freedman.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shalom Memorial Park (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A shiva was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Gottlieb Family Home (3844 Grace Ln, Glenview, IL 60025).
