She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick J. Caraher; and her parents, Richard B. Smith and Elizabeth Smith (Brunbauer). She is survived by: her children, Michael (Jamie), Kevin (Bernadette), Timothy (Alla), Daniel, Nancy Andersen (Brad), David (Karen), Susan and Karen Quirk (Thomas); her grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Brian, Sean, Colin, Christopher, Brady, Corinne, Matthew, Megan, Kyle, Lauren, Brendan, Connor, Patrick and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Jacob, Warren, Lila, Joshua, Rosie, Brooke, Charlie, Nolan and Elena; and her brother Richard Smith.
