With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward J. Thompson (Glenview, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 26, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife June; his children, Bradley (Ellen Kogstad), Jeff and Elizabeth (Tom Begnel); and his grandchildren, Michelle Thompson Pawlowski (Will) and Benjamin Thompson. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
