He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary L. Koules and Charles Chris. He is survived by: his wife Mary Koules (Wohead); his brothers, Charles C. Koules (Bettylynn) and Chris J. Koules (Joy); and his in-laws, William Wohead (Geriann), Cheryl Zatko (Stephen), Elizabeth Sala (Kevin), Veronica Porter (Dan) and Katherine Seguino (Joseph). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
