We bid farewell to Chris Callas (Glenview, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 29, 2025 at the age of 84. Chris touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ioannis Kalogeropoulos and Demetra Kalogeropoulos; his siblings, Athanasia Katsiabis (Kosta) and Angeliki Kontalonis (late Michael); and his siblings-in-law, Panagiotis Giannikos (Katerina), Theodoros Giannikos (Voula) and Voula Douros (Kosta).
He is survived by: his wife Helen; and his brothers, Sam Callas (Katina), William Callas (Tina), Angelo Callas (Lambrini) and George Callas (Georgia).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the N. H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home (1240 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025).
Memorial donations to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago would be appreciated.
