He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wardia Shamon and Jeiba Chlimon; and his siblings-in-law, Efrosini Maniotis and Eleni Zagou. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Serena and Linda Serena (Kevin); his siblings, Awweisha Shlimon (Nana), Nina Shemon (late George) and Nazy Chamoun; and his siblings-in-law, Demetrios Kardaras (late Nafsika) and Kathleen Kardaras (late Basil). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
