She was predeceased by: her parents, James Griffin and Ethel Griffin; her daughter Kathleen "Kathy" Owen; her brother James Griffin; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Owen, James Blaney and Charles Owen.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her sons, Jeffrey Owen (Stephanie) and Daniel Owen (Laura); her grandsons, Liam Owen and Jackson Owen; her siblings, Thomas Griffin (Kit) and Margaret Blaney; her sister-in-law Claudette Griffin; and her nieces and nephews, Diane Nathan, Lynda Griffin, Steve Griffin, Kevin Griffin, Spiff Griffin (Shelby), Michael Blaney (Linda), Peggy Blaney and Patricia McClelland (Tim). She is also survived by her many grandnieces, grandnephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Haben Funeral Home & Crematory (8057 Niles Center Rd, Skokie, IL 60077). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church (3535 Thornwood Ave, Glenview, IL 60026).
